For a demo, nothing: we use the store's public product data. For a build, a Shopify custom app with only the access the feature needs, which the client can revoke at any time.
Answers come only from the store's own catalogue and policies. Every release runs against a written test set, and anything the AI isn't sure of goes to a person instead of the shopper.
Small fixes are part of the monthly fee. New features get a fixed quote first, so neither you nor the client is surprised.
